Steven M. Leone passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Massachusetts General Hospital on April 8th. He was 64. A lifelong Medford resident, Steven was the son of the Norma M. (Regillo) Leone and the late Isaiah "Ike" Leone.

Steven was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. As a young man he entered the field of welding and iron work, laboring alongside his father. Later Steven founded Leone Iron Works, where he worked until his retirement. In his free time, Steven enjoyed working on cars and repairing stuff in general. He truly was a handy man. He loved being an uncle and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

The devoted son of Norma and the late “Ike” Leone, Steven was a dear brother to Jean Hickey, Joni Ward and her husband Tom, and Michael Leone. He was a loving uncle to Michael, Marc, Grace, Alexa, Tracy, Julia, and Audrey.

The family has requested funeral services to be held privately.
