FURTADO, Patricia Ann (Mathias) Age 56, of Abington, formerly of Dedham, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Patricia is survived by her daughter Kayla Furtado of Dedham, and her son Liam Furtado of Abington, as well as her father Kenneth Mathias of Dedham, and her sister Christine Donahue (Mathias) of Dedham. Devoted daughter of the late Mary Howe.
Patricia graduated from Dedham High School in 1987. She went on to become a union painter with DC Local 35, and IUPAT Local 939. Patricia was a devoted mother, daughter, and sister. Her strength, love, and compassion will live on forever in our hearts.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Tuesday, April 8th from 4-7pm. Funeral Service in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 9th at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
