Elizabeth A. Schroth, age 55, a longtime Woburn resident, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 26, 2025. "Beth" as she was affectionately known to her family friends, was the beloved wife of Michael Schroth and together they shared twenty years of marriage. Born in Boston, Beth was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (McCabe) Condon.
Beth was raised and educated in Medford. She was a graduate of Matignon High School and went to further her education earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac College. For many years, Beth was an active parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Dracut where she worshiped and served on several of the parish's ministry teams. She loved sports especially her beloved Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed the music of Jimmy Buffet and also enjoyed good food, always looking to try new and different types of cuisine.
In addition to her beloved husband Michael, Beth is survived by her siblings, Jean Hacherl, Kathleen Condon, and William Condon. She was the cherished niece of Sr. Eileen McCabe and Kate McCabe both of Cambridge, as well as the special niece of her cherished aunt and caregiver Anne Sisson of Hingham. Beth was the much loved, sister-in-law of Maureen Onessimo and her husband Michael and their children Samantha and Shawn Onessimo. Daughter-in-law of the late Mary Schroth.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass being celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 115 Wheeler Rd., Dracut, Friday, April 11th, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Beth's memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
