Jean Marie (Ferranti) Felts, age 83, of Reading, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Friday, December 27th, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Keenan) Ferranti.

Jean was the beloved wife of George Felts of Reading, and the devoted mother of Jeannine Popken and her husband Fred, Kristine Breslin and her husband Ian, and Laureen Terranova and her husband Paul. She was the loving grandmother of Jessica and Freddie Popken, Matthew and Michael Glennon, and Daniel and Dylan Breslin. Jean was the dear sister of Mary Bozzi, John Ferranti, and the late Carol Bettencourt, James Ferranti and Marie Ferranti. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Jean’s family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 4 through 8 PM on Monday, January 6th, and again on Tuesday January 7th at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
