Nicholas Mazza, age 83, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2024, at his home.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Samuel Mazza and Mary (Candella) Pepe. Nicholas was raised in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston
Nicholas worked at as a handyman for many years, most recently with Apollo Security.
When Nicholas was not working or trying to fix a project, he was a true family man who considered spending time with his loved ones most important. He always had a great sense of humor and was well known for his “one liner’s”. Being the first generation of his family born in the United States, he was very proud of his Italian heritage. Nicholas also found solace in gardening, especially vegetables.
He is survived by his six children, Joseph Mazza, Nichole Mazza, Adriana Mazza, Elise Mazza, Alexis Volcy and April; two brothers, Joseph Mazza and Peter Mazza; two sisters, Dolores Wallace and Annette Pepe. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Nicholas is also survived by his loving companion, Loretta Perry.
His family has planned a private family gathering.
