Kevin F. Joyce of The Woodlands, TX, formerly of West Roxbury, MA, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2024. Beloved husband of Lenore (Nigro) Joyce. Loving father of Kevin T. Joyce. Nephew of Anne Norton of Needham, MA, and Peter and Kathleen Naughton of County Galway, Ireland. Predeceased by his parents, Barbara (Naughton) and Thomas Joyce, and his sister and her husband, Patricia and Patrick Forde. Brother of Mary Dunphy and her husband Richard of West Roxbury, Thomas Joyce and his wife Patricia (Young) of West Roxbury, and Karin Raia and her late husband Vincenzo of Punta Gorda, FL. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Kevin grew up in West Roxbury and attended Catholic Memorial High School before attending Norwich University. Some of his fondest memories there were of his Military Police (MP) and Mountain Cold Weather-Rescue Team (MCWRT) brother and sister cadets. Following his graduation from Norwich, Kevin was commissioned as a US Army officer. He proudly served for nearly ten years as a Ranger Qualified Infantry Officer with the 25th Infantry Division, ultimately achieving the rank of Captain. Captain Kevin Joyce was Airborne Qualified, with Air Assault Wings and an Expert Infantryman’s Badge. After the Army, he continued his corporate career for nearly twenty-five years in the manufacturing, supply chain, and oil & gas industries in various roles in Maine, New York, Oklahoma, and Texas. He achieved many professional goals including his MBA, a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and an Executive Masters from MIT Sloan School of Management. Kevin was also proud to be a member of Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts and a Founding Member of the Norwich University American Legion Post 1819.

In all that Kevin accomplished, he was most proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with Lenore and their son, “Little Kev.” He was an active member of The Woodlands community, where they resided for the past ten years. He loved participating in Tae Kwon Do with Little Kev, and together they went on numerous Cub Scout excursions. Kevin was well-traveled and enjoyed sharing his Irish heritage with Lenore and Little Kev through annual trips visiting relatives in County Galway, Ireland.
