ABBEVILLE, Georgia - Jeffrey Alan Norman, 42, of Abbeville, Georgia, passed away on January 30, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Billy Stephens officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at 10:00 am at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Jeff was loved by so many. He was thoughtful, generous, and funny. He had a passion for life and a kind heart that touched everyone he met.
Jeff Norman was born on July 22, 1981, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas to Walter Scott Norman III and Carol Norman. Jeff attended Ray Marsh Elementary for his primary education where he formed lifelong friendships. He later graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and furthered his education at Georgia Perimeter College.
He pursued a successful career as a Real Estate appraiser and was the proud owner and operator of Lincoln Appraisal Group. Jeff's expertise allowed him to appraise homes across Southeast Georgia, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
Jeff's favorite pastime was spending time with his golden retrievers Lincoln and Reagan. In his free time, Jeff had a wide range of hobbies. He had a fascination with electronic gadgets and enjoyed flying his drones. He also had a green thumb and loved spending time in his garden. Jeff had a talent for painting and photography, capturing beautiful moments and creating art. Jeff always went the extra mile to make others happy with his thoughtful gifts.
He is survived by his father, Scott Norman & Faith of Fitzgerald, GA, his mother, Carol Norman of Shawnee, KS, his brother Walter Norman IV (Byra) of Kansas City, MO. brother Rusty Leonard of Shawnee, KS, Bryan Raffield, sister-in-law, Hope Raffield. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews Olivia Nicodemus, Graycen Norman, Walt Norman V, Jamie Leonard and Kristi Baonga (Mario), T.J. Strawder, Tate Strawder, Emma Grace Raffield, Eva Joy Raffield and Ashlee Phelps (John). Several great nieces and nephews and many other extended family members and friends. The folks at Statham Shoals all treated Jeff as one of their own. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, step-brother Greg Raffield, his step mother Yvette Norman and his Uncle Steve Norman.
