Mary Brown Harbuck, 81, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Cordele, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County, Georgia, with the Rev. Fred Eister officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the church sanctuary.
Mrs. Harbuck was born February 20, 1942, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Homer Lee & Elva Gertrude Brown. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1960 and was the secretary for Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she was a member. Mrs. Harbuck loved decorating and working in her yards. She loved the outdoors and animals.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Wesley Harbuck & Courtney and Leah Harrell and three great-grandchildren: Aubree Harbuck, Mary Claire Harbuck and Stella Harrell. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Harbuck and a son, Guy Harbuck.
