James Daniel Johnson, 51, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Irwinville Cemetery, in Irwinville, Georgia, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside at The Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla, Georgia.
Mr. Johnson was born September 20, 1972, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida to Daniel (Marci) Johnson and Linda K. (JJ) Stripling Johnson Clark. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Johnson was a locomotive electrician for CSX Transportation in Tennessee. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. Johnson was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Austin James and Braydon Scott Johnson, two granddaughters, Mia Faith and Maisy Gene of Tennessee, and sisters, Chinae (Sam) Ware and Amanda (Matt) Albers of Florida.
Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, is in charge of arrangements.
