Dianne Kaemmerer (Joyce) age 62, of Taunton, MA passed away at Spaulding Rehabilitation in Alston/Brighton, MA on August 2, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dianne was born in Boston, MA and attended Boston Latin School until her family moved to Taunton in 1975 where she attended Taunton High School and graduated in 1979. During high school she was an avid participant in their Latin Clubs and had a great fondness for her THS Latin Teacher, Mrs. Mary Bliss. After High School she attended St Louis University in Missouri. She was a Project Manager for a few companies over the years, most recently, RJ Forbes Painting Contractors of Attleboro, MA.
She loved crafting, DIY projects, baking, and sharing her delicious creations with family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, traveling and spending time on the coast of Maine and Florida. Dianne is predeceased by her father John “Joe” Joyce and her mother Dianne E. Joyce of Taunton and a sister, Donna Dininno of Norton. She is also predeceased by the pride and joy of her life, her son, USMC Cpl. Travis John “TJ” Kaemmerer. Dianne is survived by her sister Denise Joyce, her brother John P. Joyce and his partner Brittany Simmons, all of Taunton and brother-in-law, David Dininno of Norton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Jillian (Goddaughter), Eric, John, Brady, Shannon, David, and Stephanie. She is also survived by her great nephews, Carson Travis, Brayton Lane, and Michael.
She also leaves behind her lifelong best friends, Leila, Vicki, Marina and Paul and their children Kevin and Kara (Goddaughter), and many other friends and family members.
Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the many Doctors and Nurses at Dana Farber, Brigham & Woman’s, and Spaulding Rehabilitation. Their care and compassion throughout Dianne’s journey were unwavering!
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St in Taunton on Tuesday, September 12th from 5-7 pm. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday, September 13th at 11 am. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Taunton.
