Izabelle M. Lubin, age 88, of Medford passed away on Tuesday, April 11th, at Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. Born on July 4th, 1934, in Chardonnieres, Haiti, she was an only child. Isabelle married her husband Francois and they had one son, Markenzi, who is her pride and joy. Izabelle was a very religious person and prayed throughout the day. She also loved listening to Haitian music.
Izabelle was a hard working person and worked full time to take care of her children. She never stopped working, and even when she returned home from her full time job, Izabelle would use her sewing machine to make clothes for people she had contracted with. She dedicated all her life to make sure her children received a good education. Izabelle immigrated to the United States in 1989 where she continued to work hard for her family. She loved to joke with her son Markenzi Lubin, her daughter-in-law Dieula Lubin, her granddaughter Larissa Denis, her grandson Harold Lubin, and her cousin Joseph Chaimblain.
At 85 years old, Izabelle still wanted her hair to look good, and always asked her son to buy things for her when she needed them. Izabelle always wanted to live well with her family and have fun with them. Lastly, she always had good relationships with people who lived around her, often giving them a call just to make sure everything was OK.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, April 22nd at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 10 AM through 11 AM. Burial will be private.
