William “Bill” Arthur Condon, formerly of Franklin and Mendon passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on April 16 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Carolyn B. (McKinnies) Condon.
He was born in Lowell, July 9, 1938, the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Dyer) Condon.
Before his retirement Bill was the owner for many years of Bill’s Shell Service Station of Franklin and Medway.
Bill served in the U.S. Air Force during the late 1950’s, attaining the rank of basic airman.
Bill enjoyed driving tractor-trailer part time during his retirement, and was an avid Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Griffin and her husband Michael of Milford, Holly Bullied and her husband Michael of Douglas and Kelly Pendola and her husband Joe of Douglas.
He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Amanda Forgit of Ashland, Heather Forgit of Milford, Haley Bullied of Millbury, Katherine Bullied of Douglas, Kristen Pendola of Douglas and Joseph Pendola of Douglas.
He was the grandfather of the late Corey O’Brien.
He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
At Bill’s request services will be private.
