Denise A. Brown

NASHUA, NH: Denise A. (LaSpesa) Brown, age 71, a resident of Nashua, NH for over 20 years, formally of Tewksbury, passed away at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Born in Stoneham on March 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. LaSpesa and the late Ann R. (Loretti) LaSpesa.
Denise was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School in 1970.
She was employed by A.T. & T., the Fletcher Granite Company in Westford and retired from the Wilmington Housing Authority in 2020.
Denise enjoyed traveling, playing cards and games with her granddaughter and friends, and in her younger years, she liked playing tennis, skiing, and playing golf.
She was an active member of the A.C.T.S. community of St. William’s Parish, which she Denise described as the best thing she did in her life for herself and her relationship with God.
Denise is survived by her son, Robert E. Brown, III, of Nashua, NH: her daughter, Meredith P. Brown, of Nashua, NH: her granddaughter, Autumn M. Thomas, of Nashua, NH: her brother, George M. LaSpesa, of Melrose. She also leaves her many friends and fellow A.C.T.S. community members at St. William’s Church.
Calling hours are Thursday, March 16th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 17th, at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Please meet at church. Services for Denise will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett.
