Mary Ellen MacArtan, 85, of Fitzgerald Georgia, died Saturday, November 5, 2022, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Annette Brooks officiating.
Miss MacArtan was born February 27, 1937, in Frostproof, Florida, to the late James & Blanch Groover MacArtan. She was a bookkeeper for Community Bank and a member of St. Peters United Methodist Church. Miss MacArtan loved Elvis, as well as her animals. She was a collector of many things and enjoyed life and loved to travel.
She is survived by a sister-in-law: Mary MacArtan; two nieces: Gwen MacArtan and Jane & Craig Yancey; her best friend, Gail Clark; great nieces and nephews: Derek Yancey, Julie Reynolds & Scott, Brian Roberts, Andrea Roberts, and Tanya Davis & Stephen; great-great nieces and nephews: Phoebe Lanigan, Rachel McAlister and Jacob Davis.
