Anita M. Marquard, age 83, of Medford passed away on Tuesday, October 25th in Mt. Auburn Hospital of Cambridge. Raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Sylvia (Palladino) Marquard. Anita was employed as a Legal Secretary for the firm of Bingham Dana & Gould in Boston, and lived in Medford since the 1970s.

All who knew Anita spoke highly of her, and she enjoyed their friendships. She had an active life and loved horses, particularly her beloved “Piute,” a rescue that only she could ride.

Anita was the dear sister of John Marquard of Elizabeth, Colorado and is also survived by many loving friends. A memorial service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, November 5th at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from Noon through 1 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent in the form of contributions in Anita’s name to the charity of One's choice.
