Obituary

PIZZANO, Saverio Fernando, 91, of Sturbridge MA, originally from Roslindale MA, passed away at his home on August 7, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Ella (Vozzella) Pizzano. Devoted father of 5 children, Donna Pruden & husband Donald of Norton, Emily Kingsbury & husband John of Canton, Charles Pizzano and wife Patricia of Walpole, Mary Flinn of Roslindale, and the late Saverio Pizzano formally of Roslindale. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren Salvatore Pizzano of Walpole, John Saia of Walpole, James Flinn of West Roxbury, Charles Pizzano of Walpole, Michael Saia of Walpole, Lauren Johnson of Milton, Anthony Pizzano of Walpole, Thomas Saia ( Deceased ) formally of West Roxbury, Maria O’Connell of Randolph, Gina Todesca of Norwood and 16 great grandchildren, Ella, Emily, Grace, Charles, Salvatore, Jimmy, Joseph, Mateo, Gianna, Logan, Thomas, Lena, Charlotte, TJ, Zella and Albert. Brother of the late Mary and late husband John Boschetto & Florence Parisi of Rhode Island.


Family and friends are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday August 19, 2022 at 10AM at St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA. Interment of ashes will be at Knollwood Cemetery, 321 High Street, Canton, MA.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal in the Korean War. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park Canton, MA.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Mass on Friday August 19, 2022 at 10AM in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Ma. Interment of ashes will be in Knowlwood Cemetery, 321 High Street, Canton, Ma.
