Ethel J. (Peckham) Shaw, 85, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. She was the wife of the late Russell E. Shaw, Sr.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Borden) Peckham. Prior to retirement, she worked for Morgado's Nursery and in her earlier years, enjoyed working with children while volunteering for Jr. Achievement and the Scouts. She was a member of Pacific Union Congregational Church, Westport. She loved gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include 3 sons: Mark A. Shaw and his wife Amy of Rochester, William B. Shaw of Westport and Scott E. Shaw and his wife Amy of Westport; 2 daughters: Ann E. Trinidad and her husband Bob of Fairhaven and Lynn E.S. Smith and her husband Mark of Westport; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was mother of the late Jean E. Minor and Russell E. Shaw, Jr.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
