FALL RIVER – Antonio M. Medeiros, age 65 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born on Feb. 6, 1956 in Ponta Del Gada, São Miguel, Açores, Antonio was the son of the late Virginio Remuga and the late Alexandrina (da Costa) Remuga. He was also the beloved husband of Maria C. (Raimondo) Medeiros.
Antonio had served in the Portuguese Navy, while living in Portugal. He had also worked as a Fork Lift Operator for some of the Textile Manufacturers in Fall River. Antonio was a huge fan of the F.C. Porto Soccer Team, and also loved to fish and relax on the beach. Most of all, Antonio loved to spend quality time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Maria, survivors include his son: Philip R. Medeiros (wife Michelle) of Fall River; his siblings: Pedro Medeiros (wife Carlota), Dalia Lopes (husband Antonio), the late Hildeberto Medeiros, Ana Furtado (husband John), and Jose Maria Medeiros (wife Helia); many nieces and nephews.
Antonio’s Private Funeral Arrangements were under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
