Derek Scott Patterson, age 45, of Woburn passed away on Thursday, December 3. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of Kim and Yvonne (Pietrantoni) Patterson. Derek lived for the past 20 years in Woburn, and loved traveling to the Philippines.

Derek was married to Michelle (Ragay) Patterson of the Philippines. He was the dear brother of Jennifer and Mark Patterson of Woburn, and a loving nephew to Yole Lakos of Salem, New Hampshire, Edda Carbone of Winchester, Norma Pietrantoni of Burlington, Cynthia Pietrantoni of Burlington, Carole Pietrantoni of Wakefield, Mary Pietrantoni of Natick, John Pietrantoni and Sheila Battle of Lowell, and Patrick Patterson of Traverse City, Michigan. Derek is survived by his fiancée Jessa Mae Mondejar of the Philipines, and many loving cousins and friends.

In keeping with the wishes of Derek’s family, all services will be private.
