Obituary

Scott Donald Penney, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2020 from a tragic accident at the age of 57, in Londonderry, NH.

He was born on February, 7, 1963 in Augusta, Maine. He spent his years in many different states. Started in Maine, then spent many years between Massachusetts, and Rhode Island then back to Maine he went and spent the rest of his time.

Scott leaves behind his only daughter Christina Penney always known as his princess, her partner Jack, only grandson Bentley and upcoming grandchild due in March; his love, his Snookydoodle, fiancé Lori Kitson, mother Rona Lane and partner Norman, siblings Robert Penney, Kimberly Mooney and partner Pat, Brent Cooper, and Shelene Cooper, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Everyone knew Scott from his infectious smile, bright blue eyes, his great dance moves, and his contagious laugh. He was a man of many things, he made friends everywhere he went. He was known for sulky racing “horse jockey” in his younger years. He was a truck driver for many years, before becoming a Crane operator. Scott was a part of the Franklin Elks for a few years. He went to American Motorcycle Institute in Florida for schooling. He always loved being on his bike or even just in the garage working on his bikes -taking them apart and putting them back together multiple times. He was always volunteering to help at multiple bars including the Pot Belly in Blackstone, MA and the Railroad Pub in Lisbon Falls, ME. At Cady’s Tavern in Chepachet, RI, you would see Scott behind the bar or volunteering for many bike events and also often see him cooking Thanksgiving dinner for everyone that didn’t have a place to go that day. He just loved to have a good time with his family because everyone he knew was more like family not just a friend to him. He was a man that would be there for anyone in a second. So many people adored him, he made an impact on so many people’s lives. He will be missed by many people around this world but everyone’s memories of him will live on forever.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to celebrate the beautiful life that Scott had lived.
