Anna (Dipietro) Pezzella of Medford passed away on Friday, April 17, at Life Care Center of Stoneham. Born and raised in Mirabella, Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Angiolina (Iannisciello) Dipietro. Anna came to the U.S. in 1958, settling first in East Boston before moving to Medford in 1981. She was employed for many years at the John Hancock Building in Boston. Anna always put others first and one of her greatest joys was in cooking for her family.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late Armando Pezzella and the devoted mother of Sam Pezzella, and Maria Iraci and her husband Angelo, all of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Andrew Pezzella and Domenic Iraci. Anna was predeceased by four brothers and sisters.

Her funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Anna’s name to a charity of One’s choice.
