Henry Dybowski, age 90 of Fall River, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Alexandrina “Al” (Lima) Dybowski and the son of the late Bronislaw and Jennie (Golisbroski) Dybowski. Henry served for 30 years in the Fall River Police Department, retiring with the rank of Sgt. He was a US Marine Corp veteran of WWII, having fought in the South Pacific, including Guadalcanal & Okinawa. He was an avid fisherman. He was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
He was the father of Gail Dybowski of Fall River & the late Jane Dybowski (husband Harry Proudfoot) of Fall River; brother of Mary Murphy of Somerset and the late Bronislaw, Joseph & Edward Dybowski. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Friday, Sep. 18th with visitation in the funeral home from 9-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
