CONNELLY, John W. Jr. (“Jack”) of Needham, on June 1, 2015. Loving husband of 56 years to Janet (Phillips) Connelly. Devoted father of John P., Stephen, Sheila Scott and Katie Conry of Needham, MaryAnn McCabe of Waban and Michael of Center Valley, PA. Dear brother of Maureen of Harwichport and Joseph (“Joe”) of Milton. Jack was the cherished “Papa” of 15 grandchildren Kevin, Maeve, Madeline, Denis, Elena, Michaela, Kailey, Jack, Joseph, Alicia, Peter, Maggie, Nora, Caroline and Christian and proud great grandfather of Amatiel. Also survived by his loving sons and daughters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was a proud graduate of Boston College High School (1952) and the College of the Holy Cross (1956). Jack honorably served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy before beginning a rewarding career of over 50 years as a Manufacturer’s Representative throughout New England. A loyal parishioner of St. Bartholomew Church, Jack was also a longtime member of the Needham Golf Club. We shall miss him greatly.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM (Exit 19B of 128) Friday at 930am. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10:30am.
