Clara (Vantangoli) Randall, of Plymouth formerly of Kingston, died on February 26th at Plymouth Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at the age of 99. Born in Italy on April 11, 1915, she was the wife of the late Royal C. Randall. Mother of Roberta Randall Soares and her husband Myron of Carver, Roland Randall and his partner Carol Alberghini of Kingston, step-mother of the late Royal C. Randall Jr and the late Theresa Randall. She was the grandmother of Kim McDermott and her husband Vincent of NY; Kenneth Randall and Jeffery Randall of Plymouth, Ronald Randall and his wife Brenda and Pastor Royal C. Randall III and his wife Patricia. She was the great-grandmother of 10, the great-great grandmother of 11 and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her most dearest friend Olivia Scagliarini of Kingston. Sister of the late Tom, Paul, Arthur, and Leo Vantangoli
She worked many years at 2 local stores, Sadow’s and Carroll Cut-Rates. She realized her life-long dream of being a hairstylist when she was in her 40’s. She went on to own and operate The Charm Shop Beauty Salon. After the sale of her shop, she worked at Luigi’s Hair Salon until the age of 87. Her greatest passion in life was cooking for her family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Thursday, March 5th from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth at 10 AM on Friday, March 6th. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Residents Council at Plymouth Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, 123 South St, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to Hospice Services of Mass, 577 Main St, Wareham, MA 02571.
