Obituary

BEVERLY: Anna (Tropeano) Servizio, 89, died peacefully at her home on Friday, January 30, 2015. She was the wife of the late Peter Servizio who died in September in 2011.
Born in Beverly on August 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Jennie (Delisio) Tropeano. She was a lifelong resident of Beverly and a graduate of Hawthorne Institute in Salem.
Anna was employed as a clerk in the Department of Welfare for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years before her retirement in 1987. She was also once employed as a stenographer for the City of Beverly for several years. Anna loved to bake and cook for family gatherings. She also enjoyed sewing, going to the North Shore Music Theater and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul Servizio and Patti Pendexter of Lynn; her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Richard Silva of Beverly; three grandsons, Ricky Silva of Peabody, Christopher Silva of Beverly and Andrew Servizio of Lynn; two sisters, Nancy DeSantis and her husband, Joseph and Millie Silva all of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister, Lena Lombardi.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly.
