Jessie James "Bam" Harris, II, 22, died Monday, August 18, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Jason Wade and Rev. Anthony Dean officiating. Mr. Harris will be laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery. Sean Watts, Austin Harris, Ty Phillips, Michael Harrell, Wayne Wise and Jonathan Lucas will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Harris was born on June 29, 1992 in Tift County and was the son of Jessie James Harris, Sr. of Tifton and Kim Holton Espinoza of Ohio. He was a painter at Jessie's Paint and Body Shop in Tifton. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Harris. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris is survived by his step-mother, Laura Harris of Ocilla; one son, Kaden Harris of Tifton; one brother, Ricky Harris of Irwin County; two sisters, Ashley Charles of Tifton and Kodie Harris of Irwin County; his grandparents, Doris Mullis, Mary Harris, Betty Rowell and William and Virginia Holton; and his great-grandmother, Nell Dix.
