Nancy E. (Logan) Prendergast age 48 of Windham, NH, died Thursday at her home after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born and raised in Framingham MA, and graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Nancy worked for the town of Windham as the code enforcement officer. She was a former member of the Windham, NH Planning Board for over 8 years. She had previously worked for the US Navy as a mechanical engineer for over 10 years. Her two children were the love of her life and she was very active with the Rockingham Area Youth Swimming (RAYS), where her children are in competitive swim. Nancy’s biggest love in life was her family, especially her husband and children.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Frank and her daughters Amy and Erin of Windham, NH, her twin sister Joyce and her husband Louis Pineau of Bellingham, MA, her twin brothers James and his wife Christine Logan of Franklin, MA, Kevin and his wife Karen Logan of Franklin, TN, her brother Raymond and his wife Susan Logan of Plymouth, MA.
She is also survived by 11 Nieces and Nephews who loved her dearly.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 29th at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham. Calling hours will be Monday, July 28th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
