Benjamin James Luzzo, 35, of New Bedford died December 2, 2013 unexpectedly.
He was the husband of Lori L. (Furtado) Luzzo.
Born in Whitesboro, NY, the only son of Daphne M. (James) Luzzo of Dartmouth and the late Anthony W. Luzzo, he was raised in Dartmouth before moving to New Bedford in 2002.
Ben was a communicant of St. John Neumann Church.
He was a graduate of Dartmouth High school, class of 1996 and University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, class of 2002, where he studied finance. Ben worked at several local banks as a commercial lender.
He served in the Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; three precious children, Nicholas, Alexandria and Isabella; three sisters, Monica Moyer and her husband Stephen, Rebecca Luzzo and Maria Gregory and her husband David, all of Dartmouth; two nephews, Nathan and Aidan Moyer and a niece, Emma Moyer; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Susan and William Furtado; a brother-in-law, William Furtado and his wife Catheryn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 6th at 11 AM in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd. East Freetown. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
