Richard A. "Ricky" Santos, 47, of New Bedford died Saturday October 5, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Daniel J. and Georgette L. (Andrade) Correia of New Bedford and the late Richard A. Santos, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was a graduate of Bristol Community College Culinary Arts program.
Ricky loved to cook, especially holiday meals. He was an avid sports fan, especially Boston sports teams, and loved StarTrek and science fiction.
Survivors include his parents; his siblngs, Robin Santos, Michael Santos, Nadine Santos, Stephanie Santos, Shaunna Correia, and Joey Correia, all of New Bedford; his grandmother, Benvinda Gilbert of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was the brother of the late Daniel J. Correia, Jr.
