Maria Correia, 85 of Medford, died Tuesday after a long illness in Medford.

Born in the Azores she lived in Medford for the past 7 years and formerly in Cambridge since 1976. Maria was the daughter of the late Balbina Da Gloria and Jose Augostino Fagundes.

Beloved wife of Francisco Correia. Devoted mother of Jose Enrique Correia of Medford, Arselina Vieira and her husband Valdemiro of Somerville, Iva Candeias and her husband Manuel of Medford, Joao Correia and his wife Natevidade of Wilmington, Luis Correia and his wife Lucia of Somerville, Francisco Correia and his wife Rosemaria of Revere. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and 14 loving great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Saturday from 8-10 AM.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
