Funeral services for William Felton “Monty” Pate, Jr., 44, of Tifton, GA will be held at 2:00 P.M, Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Bethel Baptist Church in Turner County, GA. Mr. Pate passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence Tuesday, following an extended illness. Interment will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Turner County.

Monty was born in Ashburn the son of the late William Felton “Dub” Pate, Sr. and Sandra Gene Pless Pate of Ashburn. He was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and had resided in Turner County all of his life before moving to Tifton six years ago. He was owner and operator of Pate Construction Co.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Cole Pate, his daughters Ally and Lexi Pate all of Tifton; his mother, Sandy Pless Pate and a sister Tina Pate both of Ashburn.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
