WAYLAND: Paul Pescosolido, 54, died peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2013 under the care and comfort of his loving family at his residence in Wayland following a courageous and dignified 4 year battle with cancer.
He was born in Framingham on May 13, 1958 the son of the late Joseph Pescosolido and Charlotte L. (Anzivino) Pescosolido. Paul was the devoted and loving brother of Peter Pescosolido of Marshfield and Florida and Toni-Jo P. Birk and her husband Bart Birk of Westhampton Beach. NY. Cherished and adored uncle of Antonio Birk and Alexandra Birk both of Westhampton Beach, NY. Paul will also be remembered as a “special uncle” to many of his close friends children who he also considered to be family. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, devoted friends and business associates. Paul has been a lifelong resident of Wayland and spent his summers with his friends and family at the family residence in Marshfield. He graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 1976 and was the Vice President of Acquisitions for American Commercial Real Estate in Westwood. Paul was an avid Boston sports fan. He especially enjoyed the Patriots, which he watched on Sunday evening with his family, the Red Sox, the Bruins and the Celtics. He was an enthusiast for Formula One racing and spent many hours with friends doing so. He was a world traveler, enjoyed entertaining his wide circle of friends at his home in Wayland and in Marshfield. He loved walks on the beach, time spent with his niece, his nephew and family. Paul wants everyone to remember his life as a celebration as he was so appreciative of his life and for living. He handled his diagnosis with grace and dignity and always placed the needs of others before his own. Toni-Jo and Peter want to share with everyone that Paul’s unselfish love and giving and his keen wit remained with him right through to end of his life.
