Edwin H.“Mike” Bauzenberger, III, 70, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 20, 1942 the son of Nelson and Regina E. (Wallace) Bauzenberger and was raised in Collingswood, NJ. He graduated from the Maine Military Academy and Ricker College, where he met his wife, Gail. Mike served in the Army National Guard and was discharged as a Lieutenant. He resided in various locations before he came to Berlin in 2011 for his wife to serve a call as Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Members of the family include his wife of 44 years Reverend Gail Bauzenberger of Berlin, NH; children Edwin H. Bauzenberger, IV of Ashland, ME and Melanie Gail Wernick Hall of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Mikayla Matthews, Westin Bartlett, Claire Ann Bauzenberger, Alexa Jaye Wernick and Ryen Hall; many nieces and nephews and his beloved poodle, Deogee. He was predeceased by a brother Karl Bauzenberger.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 101 Norway St., Berlin. Interment will be in the spring in Oxbow, ME. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Parsonage Fund, 101 Norway St., Berlin, NH, 03570.
