…Nurse at Emerson Hospital; 64

TEWKSBURY - Katherine E. “Katie” (Taylor)(Goodwin)(Riddle) Bradley, age 64, died December 16, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, following a brief illness. She was born in Chelsea, September 25, 1948, one of eleven children of the late Gladys (Gillespie) and Gerald J. Bradley Sr., and spent most of her life in Tewksbury. She was a popular member of the Tewksbury Memorial high School, Class of 1966, and has maintained numerous friendships from her high school years. She matriculated to the Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing and graduated with the Class of 1967.

She began her working career at Tewksbury Hospital, worked at the former Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Lowell, and most recently the Emerson Hospital in Concord.

She was an avid sports fan who loved the Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox and the Tewksbury Redmen Football Team.

She will be remembered for her devotion to God, the love of her children, grandchildren, her close family ties to her siblings, her dear friends and her unwavering dedication to the nursing profession.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce C, Taylor and his wife Stacey (Oliva) of Tewksbury, Corey K. Taylor of North Conway, NH; a daughter, Katherine P. “Tricia” (Taylor) Nicholas of Tewksbury; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Patrick, Christian, Timothy, Jessica, Cameron Taylor, Brian McNaught, and Bobby Nicholas; her siblings, Andrea Taylor and her husband Robert of Wilmington, Jude Bradley and his wife Donna of Porter, ME, Mary Lanzillo of Tyngsborough, Paul Bradley and his wife Eliza of Chelmsford, Anthony “Duke” Bradley and his wife Sharon of Lowell, Daniel Bradley and his wife Louise of Porter, ME, Peter Bradley of Hudson, MA; sister-in-law, Paula Bradley of So. Grafton; her uncles, James Bradley of CA, and John Bradley of Revere; her former husband and friend, Anthony C. Taylor of Tewksbury, numerous nieces and nephews; and friends throughout eastern Massachusetts and beyond.

She was also grandmother of the late Christopher Taylor, sister of the late Gerald J. Bradley Jr., Neil J. Bradley, Joanne Bradley, and sister-in-law of the late Paul Lanzillo.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on December 19th in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, No. Tewksbury
