Lawrence, MA – Carl R. Bocash, Sr., 84, died January 4, 2012 at the Radius Specialty Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Sheldon, VT on May 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Grant and Mabel (Conwell) Bocash.
For over 40 years, Carl was the owner and operator of Carl’s Plastering of Lawrence.
Carl was a self made man who enjoyed country music and playing the harmonica.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Bistany, two sons, Carl R. Bocash Jr. of Methuen and Paul M. Bocash of Sunrise, FL, three daughters, Pamela M. Son and her husband On of Manchester, MA, Jayne F. Feole and her husband Joseph or Salem, NH, and Karen Wheeler and her husband Robert of South Carolina, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
