Paul F. Shaughnessy, Sr. age 58 of Canton passed away at home surrounded by his loving family November 16th. Born and raised in Brockton, he graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School and Holy Cross College. He was the Owner and Operator of Progress Pallet in Middleboro for many years. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (Hewitt). Father of Paul F. Jr. & his wife Sharon of Hanson & Mike Shaughnessy of Canton. Brother of Virginia Sullivan of Hingham, Richard Shaughnessy and Carole O’Connell both of Duxbury. Grandfather of Kayden & Ashlyn Shaughnessy of Hanson. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Monday morning at 10:30. Burial private.
