Georgie I. (Bailey) Harrison, 99, of Salem, NH, died peacefully at her home on Wed., November 9th.
She was a lifelong Salem resident, the daughter of the late Aphia (Vose) and Robert Bailey. Georgie was in the first graduating class of Woodbury High School in 1929 and she attended McIntosh Business School. She worked in the office of Bodwell’s Shoe Shop in Salem. She also worked various jobs in the Arlington Mills, Harris Stamp Factory and J.M. Fields.
She enjoyed doing crafts, line dancing and many trips at the Salem Senior Center. Georgie enjoyed spending time with her family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband of 76 years Herman L. Harrison, Sr., her sisters Roberta Houck and Mertie Bowyer and her granddaughter Tammy Lee.

Services will be private for the family. Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH, has care of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Senior Center, 1 Sally Sweet Way, Salem, NH 03079.
