Obituary

John Provencher, 80, of Salem NH died Wed., Oct. 26th at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.

John was born in Maine the son of the late Clara (Allaire) and John J. Provencher. He grew up in Lawrence, MA and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949. John served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a machinist for Lawrence Pumps then as a meat cutter for S.H. Brennan Wholesale Meat in Lawrence. He was an active member of Lawrence Elks Lodge #105.

Survived by:
His beloved wife: Jacqueline (Morency) Provencher of Salem

Son: Michael Provencher and his wife Diane of Moultonborough, NH

Daughters: Denise and her husband Edward Huminick of Salem NH
Johnna and her husband Stephen Mangan of Tewksbury, MA

7 Grandchildren: Jason, Stacy, Katie, Nathan, Kerran, Connor, & Ian Many Nieces and Nephews

Calling hours will be Sunday, Oct. 30th from 2-6 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 31st at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Church in Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
