Philip W. King
October 1, 1969 – March 25, 2025
Philip W. King, 55, of Alexandria passed away on March 25, 2025 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
He was born on October 1, 1969 in Anderson, IN to the late Alvin L. King Jr. and Laura R. (Fred) King. He graduated from Frankton High School.
He worked for Rydman and Fox from 1994-2004. He enjoyed working on cars, tinkering with lawn mowers and doing anything mechanical. He liked watching Misfits Garage and Classic Car shows.
He is survived by his two brothers, Arthur (Teresa) King and Rodney (Mary) King all of Alexandria; three nephews, Robert King, Jacob (Cassie) King, and Charles King; two great nephews and a great-niece, Dale King, Jacob King, and Lydia (Lane) Courter; and a great-great nephew, Rex Courter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Sue King.
Service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Daniel Stevens officiating. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
