It is with great sadness we announce that John J. Gould, 77, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away peacefully on Friday March 14, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1947, in Boston, MA, a son of the late George and Winifred Gould. He had been a resident of Fort Mill, SC for over the past two years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH and Revere, MA.
John was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them enjoying the New England outdoors – never missing the annual camping trip. He also cherished watching his grandchildren play sports and teaching them to fish. When he wasn’t spending time with family, he was an avid bird enthusiast.
John is survived by his two sons, Gregory Rowangould (wife Dana) and Jonathan Gould (wife Johanna); two daughters, Heidi Gould (husband Keith Fidler) and Jenny Gould; six grandchildren, Alena and Mara Rowangould, Samuel and George Gould, Deborah (Fidler) Nieman and Chris Fidler, and; three great grandchildren, Justin, Brooklyn and Lucas Fidler.
He was predeceased by his soulmate and loving wife of 49 years, Mary E. Gould, along with his brother, George Gould; two sisters, Winifred Deluca and Marilyn Thompson.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 29th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a service at 4:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH.
