Maxwell A. "Max" Liner
3/4/2025

Maxwell Alexander Liner, age 32
Dec 15, 1992-March 4, 2025

Maxwell was born in Hendersonville NC on December 15th, 1992 and relocated to Medford with his mother in 2004. He graduated Medford High School in 2011, and the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 2015. He dedicated his adult life to health care working at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Atrius Health care, Medically Home and the Specialized Housing group home where he resided alongside those who cared for him as he cared for them.

Maxwell was an avid animal lover and adventure seeker, there was not a body of water that man didn’t dip a toe into, nor was there any creature great or small he did not devote care to. He was a skateboarder, a cyclist, a kayaker, an avid camper, he saw the world as a big canvas and he threw paint all over it. He loved to travel, having been to France, Spain and many places in the states, and if you wondered ever what Max ever said behind your back, he was proud of you, and loved you and shared so much with family about everyone he knew. He loved you all.

Max made friends for life. And spent the entirety of his short time here, living his life to the fullest. He died peacefully at the Care Dimension Hospice house in Lincoln MA, surrounded by his loved ones, and the family wishes to extend thanks to everyone who reached out or came by.

Maxwell was the cherished son of Chris Liner, of Hendersonville, NC and Diane Cervati of Medford, MA. He was the dear brother of Andrew Ranaghan, and his two sisters, Amy Ranaghan and Lily Ranaghan of Medford. He was the loving grandson of his Grandma Judy Justice of Hendersonville, NC. He was the caring nephew of his Aunt Mary Jane Sorrells (Davey) of Brevard NC, and Aunt Nancy Jean Millwood of Colo, Iowa, Uncle Tim Liner of Shelby NC, and Aunt Lucia Rosenblatt ( Dave) of Winston – Salem NC and his Uncle David Pridmore ( April) of Philadelphia Mississippi. He was the proud owner of his cat Lula of Medford. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family throughout the US.

A celebration of Maxwell’s life will be held on March 28th from 7 PM to 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Maxwell’s family would like to invite all friends and loved ones to Diane’s house after visiting hours at her home on 15 Winter Street, Medford MA. Flowers and cards can be sent to Diane’s home in Max’s memory at 15 Winter Street Medford, MA.
