CHICOPEE – Teresa “Terry” (Lynch) Cartier, 86, of the Sandy Hill section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Friday, March 14, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life in the home in which she was born, surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born on Sandy Hill in Chicopee on December 7, 1938, a beloved daughter of the late Thomas F. and Jennie Ann (Lesniak) Lynch. She was raised in Chicopee, graduated in 1956 from Chicopee High School and lived in her home for most of her life. She was last employed in the Data Entry and Human Resources Department at the former Farm Credit Banks of Springfield and later worked at the Hazen Paper Company in Holyoke. She was a member of “Club”, a group of lifelong high school friends who got together the first Monday of every month since 1956. She was also was a member of “The Fab Four.” Most of all, Terry loved her family and her many friends. She was predeceased by her loving son, James Richard Cartier who was Called Home on January 23, 2019 and her dear brother, Raymond Lynch. She leaves her two devoted children, Jacqueline J. Grubb and her husband, Tony, of Sedona, AZ and Michael J. Cartier and his wife, Melissa, of Port Richey, FL; her two granddaughters, Alysha LaCamera and her husband, Tyler, and Hannah Poor; her cherished great-grandson, Alexzander LaCamera; her dear sister, Judith Skorka of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family members.
