Christopher J. Sullivan of Dover, MA passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 80. He was the eldest of seven and set the bar for his siblings with his joie de vivre, with a little bit of mischief mixed in. Chris had a serious injury at an early age, and he persevered through his challenging recovery and beyond. He returned to college and became a proud graduate of Boston College and remained a lifelong Eagles fan. Chris lived and worked on Beacon Hill until his retirement from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. He returned to Dover after retirement where he became a fixture walking to the center with a cane in one hand and a pipe in the other. He was always ready for a laugh and loved telling well crafted jokes.
Preceded in death by his parents Kathleen W. and Paul J. Sullivan, also of Dover, MA, Christopher is survived by six siblings, nine nieces and nephews, and many friends who will cherish his memory. A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held for family and friends at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 15, at the V.F.W. Post in Dover, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center.
