Gloria J. Manforte of Dorchester, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the age of 66.
Born on December 5, 1958, in Cambridge, MA, Gloria was the daughter of the late Harry and Marion (Leighton) Lupo. She was the loving sister of Gina Holland (Lupo) of Lowell and was predeceased by her brothers Danny and Joseph, as well as her sister Paula. Gloria was the cherished wife of the late Francis Manforte of East Hartford, Connecticut. With her first husband, Robert Fredericks (deceased), whom she married in 1977, she raised three beautiful children. Gloria was a devoted mother to Stephanie and her husband Ed of Roslindale, Arlene of Jamaica Plain, and Gloria and her husband Ben of Westwood. She was also a proud grandmother to Alice Bergin, Ruby Fredericks-Grzyb, and Grace, Jack, and Emma Haughey. Above all, Gloria adored spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her warmth, sense of humor, and remarkable strength in the face of adversity left an enduring impact on all who knew her. Gloria was a fierce champion for her family and a steadfast believer in the power of unconditional love and acceptance. The love and lessons she shared with those closest to her will be her lasting legacy. A memorial will be held at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home (10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Friday, March 14th from 4-6pm. | ||||
