Margaret R. (Postizzi) Zullo, longtime resident of Somerville, passed away on Monday, March 3rd. She was 89. Born and raised in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (DiGrande) Postizzi.

Margaret was a dedicated parishioner of Saint Catherine’s church. She was a crucial part of the church’s daily routine. Margaret would partake in all the bazaars, church fundraisers, and would press and iron all the vestments. When Margaret was not helping out at church she enjoyed playing bingo, visiting Foxwoods and baking her famous fruitcake.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Frank Zullo. She was the devoted mother of Linda Hutchinson, Ronald Zullo, and the late Robert and John Zullo. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Gloria.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Margaret’s family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, March 10th from 9 to 11 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
