William Bobby Carr
November 24, 1963 – February 22, 2025
Bobby Carr passed away on February 22, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on November 24, 1963, and spent most of his life in Ventura County. He graduated from Rio Mesa High School and attended Ventura College part-time while working full-time in construction.
Bobby was always athletic, but never played organized sports. He had a mechanically curious mind and enjoyed taking things apart just to see how they worked. Despite the challenges he faced in life, he found comfort in the unwavering love of his parents, who supported him through difficult times. He had a unique sense of humor and a soft spot for funny dog videos. He also had a particular fondness for chocolate chip cookies—without the chocolate chips.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Chhun Tang for his generosity and kindness toward Bobby. Chhun always found work for Bobby whenever he was available, despite his unpredictable schedule and lifestyle. More than that, Chhun was a true friend to Bobby for many years, offering support and companionship that meant so much to him.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Carr. He is survived by his daughters Breanne Carr and Brooke Carr; his mother, Claudia Carr; his sister, Joanne Carr; and his brother, Matthew Carr.
William’s life was not without struggles, but he will be remembered for his resilience, his inquisitive nature, and the quiet ways in which he found joy.
Private funeral services will be held at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura, CA.
