Robert Michael Sciortino, age 53, of Malden passed away on Sunday, February 16th, at CHA Everett Hospital. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of Louis C. and Nancy H. (Trelegan) Sciortino. Robert lived in Billerica before moving to Malden over ten years ago. He was employed as a union plumber, and was a member of Local 12. Robert was a hard worker and a very caring father, son, brother and friend. When not at work, he loved to ride Harleys and drive his Corvette. He also enjoyed cruises and trips to Florida.

Robert was the devoted father of Robert Edward Sciortino and Sydney Irene Sciortino, and the dear brother of Christopher V. Sciortino and his wife Stephanie, and Lauren M. Maksou and her husband John. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Robert’s family on Tuesday, February 25th in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 3 through 6 PM, concluding with a funeral service at 6 PM. Interment will be private.
