Donald Henry Boudreau, age 78, of Billerica passed away on Tuesday, February 11th, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Francis and Mary (Wesseles) Boudreau. Donald proudly served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as a jet engine mechanic. After returning to civilian life, he was employed as a long haul truck driver transporting hazardous materials.
Donald was an avid gun collector. He loved to hunt, and enjoyed shooting at his gun club. Donald also enjoyed working flea markets where he sold knives and military memorabilia. He had a great sense of humor and was always joking around.
Donald was the beloved husband of Debra (LaMarco) Boudreau, and the devoted father of Steven Lazzaro, Jr., Brian Boudreau and his wife Kristina, and Sue Rogue and her husband Roy. He was the loving grandfather of Jared and Riley Boudreau, and Matthew and Amanda Rogue, and is survived by three great grandchildren. Donald was the dear brother of the late Franny Boudreau, and brother-in-law of Dennis LaMarco and his wife Karen, Marc Cutler and his wife Maria, and Scott Cutler and his wife Jean. He was the cherished son-in-law of Deanna Grant, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 21st from 4 through 8 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, on Saturday, February 22nd at 10 AM concluding with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
