Constantina (Polcari) Romano, age 92, of Medford and Montefalcione, Avellino, Italy, passed away on Thursday, January 30th at Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Born and raised in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Marianna (Fina) Polcari. Constantina was very social and lived a full life. She enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with her family.

Constantina was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Romano, and the devoted mother of John Romano, Joseph Romano, Jr., Anthony Romano and his wife Diane, and Susan Sanseverino and her husband Steve. She was the loving grandmother of Bianca Romano, Steve and Michael Sanseverino, and Joseph and Nicholas Romano. Constantina was the loving great grandmother of Michael, Ella and Olivia Sanseverino, and dear sister of the late Mario, Rafael, Antonio, Rodolfo, Claudia and Sister Monica. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, February 5th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the funeral home at 9 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
