KRUG, Edna “Bunnie” (McGrath) of West Harwich, formerly of Dedham, passed away peacefully, January 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Krug. Devoted mother of Kenan and his wife Kristina of Dedham, Darrin and his wife Suzanne of Ardmore, PA, and Edward and his wife Michelle of Walpole. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Kenan Jr, Katherine, Emma, and Abby, loving sister Pauline, and many nieces and nephews.
Born Sept. 25, 1943 in Dayton, OH, she was raised in West Roxbury and graduated from Roslindale High School and Boston Secretarial School. After marrying Bob, the love of her life, she enjoyed an active life in Dedham with friends and organizing town events like the James Joyce Ramble. Together she and Bob soaked up the sun and took yearly vacations to the islands and Florida. She worked in sales at Sears and made many lifelong connections in the Fire Dept. community before retiring to Cape Cod.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 4-7pm. Additional visiting hours continue at 9:30am Wednesday, Feb. 5 with a funeral service at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. She will be laid to rest in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15pm.
